No. Memorial pages are hosted indefinitely at no cost. Only the page owner can delete a memorial. We believe a memorial should be as permanent as the love behind it.

Anyone 18 or older with a free account — family members, friends, gravekeepers, funeral professionals, and genealogists all use GraiverCode. During creation we ask your relationship to the person, which is kept for our records and is not shown publicly.

Yes, at any time. Open your memorial while signed in and use the Edit button to update the story, dates, photos, family details, and more. Memorials are living pages — many families keep adding memories for years.

Yes. Page owners can upload a profile photo and a full photo gallery. When uploading, you can turn on auto-enhance, which gently restores contrast and color on faded or older photographs — especially helpful for scanned prints.

Visitors can leave tributes, and signed-in members can post comments. All submissions pass through a two-layer content review (including AI-assisted moderation) to keep memorial pages respectful. As the page owner, you can also turn comments off entirely at any time from your memorial page.

Memorial pages are public by default so that anyone who scans the plaque or receives the link can pay their respects. If you'd like a memorial made private, contact us at contact@graivercode.com and we'll assist you.

On any memorial page, you can subscribe to receive a gentle email on the person's birthday and/or the anniversary of their passing — a small nudge to pause, remember, and light a candle in their honor. You can unsubscribe anytime by contacting us.

Candles are a quiet act of remembrance — light one on any memorial and your name appears alongside it. Candle bundles are available in the shop, and candles in your account can be used on any memorial, anytime.

Each plaque carries a unique GraiverCode. When it arrives, you scan it once to activate it and link it to your memorial (or create a new one on the spot). From then on, anyone who scans the plaque is taken straight to the memorial page. No app is required — every modern phone camera reads QR codes.

Our plaques are built for permanent outdoor placement — engraved on weatherproof, UV-resistant material designed to withstand sun, rain, and freeze-thaw cycles for many years. The QR code itself uses the highest error-correction level, meaning it stays scannable even if part of the surface is scratched or weathered.

Each plaque ships with industrial-grade weatherproof adhesive already applied — just peel and press. For best results:

• Clean the spot with the included prep wipe and let it fully dry
• Choose a smooth, polished area of the stone (the base or back work well)
• Apply in temperatures above 50°F and press firmly for 30–60 seconds

For rough or unpolished stone, a thin layer of outdoor construction adhesive from any hardware store gives the strongest hold.

We recommend checking with the cemetery office before placing any plaque — policies vary. Most public and private cemeteries allow small plaques on the base or back of a headstone. Veterans Affairs and national military cemeteries generally prohibit attachments to government-issued markers; in those cases families often place the plaque on a separate memorial item. If your plaque arrives damaged or defective, contact us with a photo and we'll make it right. Our plaques are made from durable materials for outdoor use, but they are not guaranteed against fading, weathering, or wear over time — see our refund policy for details.

Yes — you can link multiple plaques to the same memorial (for example, one at the grave and one on an urn or memorial bench at home). If you need a plaque re-linked to a different memorial, contact us and we'll help.

Plaques ship anywhere within the USA. You'll receive an order confirmation immediately and a notification when your plaque ships. If you have any question about an order, email contact@graivercode.com with your order number.

Orders canceled before shipment receive a full refund. After shipment, plaques that arrive damaged or defective are replaced free of charge. Candle bundles are digital goods delivered instantly and are non-refundable. Full details in our refund policy.
